An Alliance for a Global Future: NATO’s Partnerships with Australia

About this session:

Time: AFTERNOON

NATO gets its strength through the unity of its member states but the Alliance also seeks to address global challenges through a range of important partnerships with many non-NATO countries. NATO and Australia have engaged in dialogue and cooperation since 2005 with Australian armed forces participating in NATO-led efforts in Afghanistan and in support of NATO Mission Iraq. NATO and Australia continue to strengthen relations in order to address shared security challenges.
