Mr. Prystaiko joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in 1997. Over the years, he has held multiple diplomatic positions including the Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada and Ukrainian representative to the International Organization of Civil Aviation. Prior to being named Foreign Minister in August of this year, he served as the Head of Mission of Ukraine to NATO from 2017 to 2019. Mr. Prystaiko graduated cum laude from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’s Department of Computer Science. He is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and English.
